911 Remembered

posted by snarko on Tuesday, September 11 2007

and dare to pull post; censored everywhere today

I was currently working at the Halloween Superstore as a manager. No shit. I called my husband, frantically, because the way the news reports kept coming in, it sounded like a plane was dropping out of the sky once an hour.

"This is HUGE," I remember saying. "It's actually NEWS..."

I remember hearing a report of a bicycle rider in New York getting beat up over the fact he laughed that someone destroyed the Towers. I sided with the rider... it's not exactly hard to imagine why someone would wanna destroy one of the largest symbols of corporate greed on the planet.

I knew someone on the plane that was supposedly crashed by its riders over Pennsylvania, rather than hit the White House. I, to this day, do not believe the story to be true. I think they were shot by our own people. You can't make cellphone calls on a plane like that.

But he's gone, either way. Kinda a "dumb surfer dude", but really nice and a great engineer. I have a picture of him in my portfolio, as he was one of my models. And I'm not taking it out.

When I got off from work, I saw the news video. Over and over and over and over again, as the news likes to do.

Well, you shouldn't have shown it more than once.

The first time, I bought it.

The third time, I was like, "Hey, I know my math and physics; how the hell does a building get hit HERE, and then fall straight to ground, rather than the top just falling at this angle like simple physics would govern?"

The fifth time, I noticed the "little white lights". DETONATED. Come on. I am not stupid.

And I couldn't believe we were shortly in a war with Iraq, when the reports were the "boxcutter" gang was Saudis.

They hope you have short-term memory. But I don't.

I am very sorry for every person who lost someone in this event (and I did). And I'm sorry to say, I do not believe in our government's story of what happened. I think WE killed them all. And have, since day ONE.

While watching their own footage.
