Fwix for Twits

Almost More Annoying than Fox News
I said ALMOST: at least the news stories aren't fabricated by liars and delivered by narcissists without a journalism degree.
I took RealStory away as my homepage for posting way too many useless stories all of a sudden, but I'm bored right now, and haven't kept up on world and national events. It often hits stories others miss, or choose to axe without giving it a chance, at all.
Some of the axe is good shit. Like the government crack-down on media (including cell phones) leaving the Middle East.
I see they've added a feed for local Austin news. Cool, I'll check it out.
This, apparently fed by Fwix, is the DUMBEST marketing crap I've ever seen. I'm not calling myself a genius at marketing, but this is JUST DUMB.
In larger type than the headline, I read with an arrow pointing to said headline, shit like, "Is this interesting?" "Is this shocking?" "Is this sad?" Followed by "yes", "no", "I don't know"?
Like, fuck you: if I didn't think it was interesting, why the hell would I have clicked the fucking headline to get here? And you make me click AGAIN to actually read the story?! I can't believe anyone is still doing this: CLICK-WHORES!
And why the hell would I openly give you free marketing numbers, without even being able to read the story?! "Is it sad?" That's what your numbers and comments are for! That's not a "poll"; it's completely unveiled D-student marketing BULLSHIT.
Never seen them before, but Fwix is the most idiotic, useless online excuse for a "tool" I've seen to date.
Worse than MySpace.
